pixie's second single 'boys and girls' was added immediately to the kiss radio network and also capitol.

now this week it's been added to the A list BBC radio2 and the C list BBc radio1.pretty good.



recently mads and i have been writing with adam reily (australia's max martin) and also with golden voiced darren hayes. (who's making a new pop record..savage gardening?).



'dreamboats and petticoats' has transferred to the savoy theatre in london's west end.i went to the premiere with lord andrew lloyd webber.(well actually he was a few rows ahead of me).the show gets better and better.



other events...



saw the shepherd fairey exhibition at boston's brilliant ICA.just brilliant.

got dizzy at the guggenheim NYC.

ate oysters for the first time at 'neptunes'.(ben affleck had just left).

had a surfing lesson on the jersey shore.if only i was 10 kilos lighter...

had a day in province town.

phew...!...so we finally made it....pixie lott scores a number one in the UK with "mama do (uh oh uh oh)"...big thanks to bill,alfie hollingsworth for the introduction,joe kentish for the radio ears,beverley and steve for the positive vibes,georgie at DAS,venetia and lisa at UMPG for cheering us on...anders kallmark and greg kurstin for the crazee synth noodling,phil tan for the mix and of course the brilliant miss pixie for her soulful singing and inspirational energy.

'mama do' is now #9 on the uk airplay chart.capital radio (london's big station) were first to 'support' the song with lots of plays.the video is being picked up by the major channels and you can watch it here too...

new mercury signing josh osho came by to write with mads and i.what a great voice.

the stars of the musical 'dreamboats and petticoats',scott bruton and daisy wood davies,came by to sing on their respective singles from the show.('you won't catch me crying' and 'dream baby dream').

unfortunately french pop sensation chimine badi's A&R decided to ditch our brilliant tracks after much hard work and star appearances from noisettes' drummer james morrison and various 'duffy' band members.promises promises.
