( 3.1 / 188 )a remarkable time.a career high....
mads and i had songs on the top 4 compilation albums in the UK chart.
No 1 Clubland 16 Boys & Girls (Pixie Lott)
No2 Pop Party 7 Boys & Girls (Pixie Lott)
No3 Dreamboats and Petticoats Volume 3 Dream Baby Dream,You Won't Catch Me Crying
No4 Live Lounge Mama Do (Newton Falkner cover version not bad at all)
No 8 Now 73 Mama Do (Pixie Lott)
we worked with pixie on her radio one 'live lounge' performance with a coldplay style arrangement of "when love takes over".(originally kelly rowland and david guetto).pixie's band joined by the best string quartet in town.
as usual she sang with soul and made the song her own.
recent visitors to the swamp include lizzy pattinson to sing some of our kylie minogue song pitches.(all refused so far).
also we welcomed back darren hayes and wrote another song for his solo album.a brilliant lyric and plenty of laughs.

a suprise visit from swamp favourites casey shea and wes 'weschester' hutchinson resulted in the soon to be classic kylie cut 'stardust'.
with a little help from stardust band members scarlett skye, silent E and stylist biff.
yes,we are silver dancers.
other recent songwriting colabs with emeli sande, jade williams, lise karlsnes and wayne hector.
pixie lott still #1 UK airplay with 'boys and girls'.working harder than ever.
the musical 'dreamboats and petticoats' featuring my songs 'dream baby dream' and 'you won't catch me crying' now has two shows running.one in the west end and one on the road.it's quite silly but a lot of fun.the flimsiest of scripts introduces songs from pre-beatle england in the style of the queen show 'we will rock you'.but it all works.

got dizzy at the guggenheim NYC.
ate oysters for the first time at 'neptunes'.(ben affleck had just left).
had a surfing lesson on the jersey shore.if only i was 10 kilos lighter...
