Mads Hauge
Mads (pronounced Mutz) is a versatile Songwriter and Producer working out of Phil’s private studio ‘The Swamp’ in West Hampstead, London.
Originally from Bergen, Norway he came to the UK to study at Paul McCartney’s LIPA (in it’s inaugural year). He then worked as session guitarist for Girls Aloud and Daniel Beddingfield before committing to a songwriting and producing career.
He has since co-written Natasha Beddingfield’s US smash “Soulmate” and co-written and produced the number one UK hits “Mama Do”,”Boys & Girls” and “Cry Me Out” for Pixie Lott.
Recently he’s had songs recorded and released by Eliza Doolittle (“Go Home”), Darren Hayes (‘Nearly Love”) and written all the songs for a Kids TV series called “City Of Friends”.
Imminent releases include 3 songs for Pixie’s new album (including the single “Kiss The Stars” ) and songs for exciting new Mercury signing Seye Adelekan.
A multi-talented musician and vocalist Mads is also a gearhead with interests in vintage recording techniques whilst using the very latest in Protools technology. Plus he’s a great ukelele player.
Mads is a melody and lyric writer. He is not the ‘track’ guy!
